1. Overview
Department of Land Planning was established in 1976. Nowadays, this is the working place of 8 cadres, of which 6 are partisan, 3 are Associate Professor, 1 is Doctor of Philosophy and 4 have Master’s Degree.
2. Missions and Goals
+ Lecture: Undergraduate includes 11 subjects, Post-graduate includes 10 subjects, PhD Student Education includes 4 subjects..
+ Lecturing 15 PhD Students and 60-70 Masters students to do dissertation annually.

Main direction
+ Research scientific basis to establish land planning and serve land management effectively.
+ Evaluate the planning of land and agricultural production of new rural development;
+ Research scientific basis to establish the overall planning of socio-economic development; Spatial planning; Environmental planning;
+ Research the application of information technology (GIS) and optimal mathematical methods in establishing land use planning;
+ Build a model of detailed planning in the center area for new rural development;
+ Researching the relationship between land use planning and urban construction planning; Land use planning with land valuation; Mass land price planning.
+ Research on community based national land management, building new rural areas
+ Land use planning incorporating environmental factors and climate change; Land use planning adaptation to climate change
Evaluate the potential and direction of sustainable land use.
