This is a meaningful event to propagate, encourage and encourage the spirit of creativity, scientific research with scientists and students; Commending the excellent achievements of scientists and students in scientific research, contributing to improving the quality of scientific research and training in the Academy. The competition is also a practical activity to celebrate the 18th of Vietnam Science and Technology Day and the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to the Academy (May 24, 1959 - May 24, 2019).

Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Vien - Chairman of the Academy Council, Prof.Dr. Pham Van Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Academy, PhD. Le Huynh Thanh Phuong - Head of Science and Technology Committee and representatives of the Academy Council, Science and Training Council, scientific leaders and assistants, and the presence of nearly 150 scientists. , Academy students.
The 2019 Academy's Science and Technology Innovation Contest attracts the participation of 82 research projects from 14 faculties. In which, the Faculty of Environment contributes 04 typical projects, including: "Innovative ideas for scientific and technological products that can be commercialized and applied to the production of scientists" have 01 work; "Typical projects of scientific research students" 01; "Innovative science and technology ideas of students" has 02 works.
Officials, lecturers and students look forward to continuing to promote the spirit of passion for scientific research, continue to strive to bring scientific research activities of the Department of Environment increasingly strong.
